Wayfinding

The support we provide

The Wayfinding program provides services to individuals who are experiencing housing insecurity, including those who are unhoused or are at risk of becoming unhoused. The foundation of the program is based on building and maintaining the following:

  • A non- judgmental, safe, and confidential space

  • Relationships with each unique individual seeking assistance  (our services are dependent on an assessment of program appropriateness and capacities)

  •  Our broad range of services also includes advocacy, support and any appropriate community referrals in the areas of financial assistance, medical, mental health, addictions and justice system.

  • We assist with obtaining personal identification, basic tax preparation, collection and distribution of mail, and safe storage of any documents.

  • The distribution of personal hygiene items, outside clothing, footwear and emergency food items on an ongoing basis

Our services are delivered by two registered social workers: Courtney Arndt and Laura Walton. To access support, we can be reached at 780-517-7644 to book an appointment, otherwise, we are available for drop-in services Mondays and Thursdays 12:30-3:30 in the Bingo Hall.
